The X Games Aspen finals happened over the weekend and in the super pipe, Danny Davis took out the win. His run was definitely not all about getting the most spins he could into it but rather adding a bucket load of style in and getting rewarded for it. His run included a switch method, McTwist and a double cork. Louie Vito got second with Greg Bretz in third. Shaun White was absent from the contest which Davis acknowledged in his post interview saying, “It’s bittersweet when Shaun’s not here — you know, he’s the one to beat — but forget it, I’ll take it.” Check out one of his runs here.
