The New York Times has an article up that covers the ever growing ‘trend’ of green manufacturing practices in the snowboard industry. Now, I have heard that outerwear is a terrible thing to make, but the article only touches on the snowboards. Having worked in a snowboard shop, I also know that nearly every piece of softgoods from all companies comes in it’s own plastic bag. Hopefully this ‘trend’ evolves into a blanket practice for the entire industry. Article here.
