There’s a rumour that Shaun White has got himself a private pipe to train it at Perisher at the moment. And there’s been plenty of sightings of White around the place to back it up. If what’s on the internet is true (and when isn’t it?) then the pipe has a price tag of around $250K which was either picked up by White himself, is being paid for with a pipe cutter, or GoPro are footing the bill. If you have the time, it’ll be worth finding a comfortable spot within viewing distance and waiting for the man to show up – you might be the first to see a new trick stomped that the rest of us wont see till Sochi.
