Hey Guys! We’re heading down to Queensbridge Square in Melbourne now to kick off the live blog of the 2011 Billabong City Squared event just after 12pm today. If you’re anywhere near the city – you should definitely get down and check it out, it’s going to be amazing. If you can’t make it along, check this post during the afternoon for all the happenings, videos and photos!

12:41PM – Here’s the first update from Renton on the Sony Bloggie… Check out this setup!!! A guy many of you will know, Woody Sedgman, is the man behind a lot of this. Awesome work Woody!

1:08PM – Here’s a few hits and a list of a few crew that are warming up…. Mapstone and Sparks are on the mic, practice is on for heat 1 now.

1:26PM – Half way through heat 1. About 4 minutes to go. In this heat was Scott Standley, John Dickenson, Bryce Golder, Tom Cuthbertson and Josh Pall.

1:32PM – Heat 1 is over, practice for heat two is coming up. Heat 2 is: Tommy Fynn, Mat Kinsman, Bjorn Johnstone, Joel Mcilroy, Nathan Jackson and Paul Battlay.

1:42PM – Here’s the latest from Renton…

2:00PM – Heat 2 is wrapping up now. Junior is killing it on the tunes… Although there is some debate going on about that. Another clip coming soon.

2:08PM – Okay, I’m catching up on a few things… Heat 4 is Shane O’Neill, Jesse Noonan, Harry Clark, Gabriel Summers, Bugs Fardell and Vaughn Marks. Can’t wait for this one!

2:27PM – That heat was pretty incredible. Renton has been filming it so I’ll chuck it up ASAP.

3:04PM – Here’s the latest clip!!!

3:41PM – Finals are about to start… There’s some baaaad music and some pretty gnarly stuff happening on the sidelines. One guy just got an atomic wedgie – I’m not even kidding.

3:44PM – Heat one of a two heat final is now on. Tommy Fynn, Marty Girotto, Pat Dandy and more are going for it.

4:40PM – Apologies again for the break – second heat of the finals was awesome. Best trick is on at the moment and then they’re doing the winners. Will post asap. Here’s a final clip from Renton for the day!
