Joel Parkinson (AUS) was too good for Owen Wright (AUS) with a 16.66/20 2 good waves ahead of Owen with 13.16/20

Jordy Smith (ZFA) has Just taken out Chris Davidson (AUS) 14.16/20 to 11.10/20

and Mick Fanning (AUS) is off to an amazing start against Jason Andre (BRA) with the best turn of the day so far giving him a 9.53 on the score board.

Following his awesome start, Fanning has pushed through to femi finals, as did Joel Parkinson (AUS) with some awesome arials to finish off a series of stellar waves. (See series in Photos)

Fanning came back again in the Semi Final against Jordy Smith (ZFA) and dominated the ever bigger waves with his incredible speed, and remarkable stamina.

He rode into the beach to a standing ovation, before heading into what will be an all Aussie final between Parkinson and Fanning..
