SALES & ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT
Dragon Alliance, a youth lifestyle brand, is seeking a Sales & Administration Assistant to support the National Sales Manager in the Torquay Head Office. The successful candidate will execute sales strategies for Dragon’s long-term growth, working with Dragon’s existing and prospective retail customers, in Australia and New Zealand.
The successful candidate will deliver:
– The ability to quickly build sound business relationships with Dragon customers (retail staff, buyers and mangers). Executing structured telephone servicing & sales calls is essential; therefore a vibrant and enthusiastic telephone manner is essential.
– Sales reporting & specific information to Dragon’s Sales Reps through possessing sound computer skills – specifically in Excel, Outlook, & Word.
– A retail industry understanding and/or experience in an administrative or similar role within sales. Specifically within the lifestyle market is ideal but not essential.
– The desire to improve on and challenge current sales practices to ultimately drive increased sales.
– Excellent organisational ability, displayed through your capacity to constantly multi-task.
– A flair for customer service through exceptional communication skills – both verbal and written.
– The role also includes specific administration responsibilities that extend to
– Assisting Accounts Receivable to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts
– Despatch monthly statements to our retailers

MARKETING CO-ORDINATOR

Dragon has the need to appoint a passionate, proactive and driven marketing enthusiast who will be able to demonstrate the following:
– An outgoing, passionate and creative individual
– Experience in a similar marketing role – 12 to 18 months. And/or graduate qualifications with Marketing focus, Product background is highly desirable
– Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to work well under pressure
– A high level of attention to detail and accuracy, and work within budgets.
– Awesome social skills, with the ability to work well in both a team environment and autonomously
– Effective communication skills both written and verbal
– Strong prioritization skills, and ability to deliver initiatives on time
– Knowledge of Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel & Word (an understanding of Adobe Suite of products is a bonus)
– A willingness to travel
– An interest in the action sports industry
This holistic marketing role will include, but will not be limited to the following duties:
– Development and implementation of marketing initiatives aligned with sales goals.
– Create and coordinate online marketing campaigns and marketing materials
– Plan, develop and implement product launches & events
– Coordinate day-to-day management of suppliers, agencies and third parties
– Assist with all general marketing, PR/Promotions and advertising campaign development.
– Liase with magazine publishers, editors and co-ordinating artwork and product placement.
– Assistance with the management of Dragon sponsored athletes
– Maintain contact with overseas representatives and liaise closely with them
