I’ve been testing out a few snow report apps recently looking for something simple and functional to get a quick reading on the snow conditions at the Australian mountains. There’s a couple of okay ones out there but I’m actually really impressed by the Aussie Snow Report app – I should note that this was created by a friend of mine as a side project but he has gone to some pretty amazing lengths to get accurate reports. In addition he has camera feeds and has an alerts system that will send you a push notification when snowfall reached a level you pre-set. It’s only AU$1.19 – well worth a download.
