Swiss tourist Dominic Emmenegge took a run at skating through the 3.4 kilometre long Burnley tunnel this morning. It ended in comedy with trucks baring down on him and eventually a bit of a stack… Hence the bandaged hands. After leaving hospital he said, “I will never do it again, please all the guys out there, don’t do it, it’s crazy!” But I believe the smile on his face in the photo tells a different story. Right now I’d say he’s trying to avoid prosecution (highly likely) by saying the right things like ‘I didn’t know I couldn’t do that‘. Peep the full story over here.
