The Docklands in Melbourne are getting their own indoor snow park with real snow on the ground. The guys emailed out a release this morning saying, “You may or may not have heard that we are planning on opening Australia’s first indoor Ski and Snowboarding park with real snow in Melbourne in the coming months. Derek [Nicholson], the man with the brains behind this operation has been planning this for many years and has come up with the perfect park design. We have secured our very own snow making facilities which is to be located on site. This will give us the means to make as much snow as we like. Basically the park will be located in the heart of the Docklands in Melbourne. Plans are to get building within the next few weeks with completion of the project within a months time. Dates to be confirmed.” They also included the plans for the building – check them out above. I’m really looking forward to seeing what they come up with, could be a rad place to spend the summer!
