Saturday was the 2011 Dew Hut Jam at Buller and although the comp was shifted forward three hours due to an incoming weather front, it was still the best conditions I think I’ve seen the comp run in. The guys were all killing it in the chase for a piece of the five figures up for grabs. In the end, it was Team Burton, consisting of Jye Kearney and Chris de Campo, that took first and walked away with $10,000. The best trick, which required both team members, was won by Team K2 consisting of Nick Wood and Andy Lloyd who stomped a backside rodeo 540 and switch backside rodeo 540 combo for $1k each. The Gatorade Rookie prize, which was judged over three parts including a public vote and a peer poll, went to Jye Kearney making it a very sucessfull day for the guy! Check some highlights below and a few photos above. We have a full gallery from the day coming later in the day!
