You know those epic features created for each Street League stop? Well they’re being donated to create skate parks through Rob Dyrdek’s Foundation. According to this mornings post, “The Rob Dyrdek Foundation has already helped build 11 skate plazas in the last 2 and a half years, now with the Street League Course donation program local skateboarders will have a chance to skate the same contest features as their favorite Street League pros. The first of these plazas to come to fruition is in Cesar Chavez Park in Phoenix, Arizona where with the help of California Skateparks, donations from the Rob Dyrdek Foundation and Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon, obstacles from the 2010 Glendale, Arizona Street League were used to create an amazing 10,000 square foot skate plaza.” Such a rad idea – I’d be stoked to be skating those features.
