Many of you will already have heard the sad news that Victorian surfer Shaun Brooks passed away last week.

Shaun was a professional through the 90s and a standout on the pro junior circuit. Our thoughts are with his family. If you’re in Torquay today and want to pay your respects, a memorial service and paddle out is being held at the Bird Rock lookout at 1 this arvo, with drinks at the Bells Beach Hotel to follow.
