Frank Iero, guitarist for My Chemical Romance, has put his name to a new shoe by MacBeth. The shoe is a collaboration project between MacBeth and the Syrentha Savio Endowment (SSE), a non-profit organization fighting breast cancer through innovative programs like The Shirts for a Cure Project. A portion of the proceeds from each sale of Iero’s shoe goes to support SSE and its programs. The official release says “Available in two versions, you can choose either the “Fuck Cancer” or “Cancer Fighter” message, embroidered on the heel of each shoe. The insoles are printed with anatomically detailed instructions of how to check yourself for breast or testicular cancer.” The shoe will be available in February.
