DVS shoes and Matix clothing have declared bankruptcy in the US and are likely to be sold to a new owner within 45 days time. The reasons given were around an “expensive restructuring in Europe, increased materials and factory costs in China, problems with their senior lender, and the overall tough economy.” Never good to see good brands in trouble however, to all other TM’s out there, this may mean that the likes of Mikey Leblanc, John Jackson and Louif Paradis are available for your snow team – any one of them would be a major coup. For the skate brands Torey Pudwill, Daewon Song, Marc Johnson and Chico Brenes could be available… Holy shit, any brand would be lucky to have one of these guys. More on the story over here.
