Eshe Skateboards have released their second set of boards in the Religion is Garbage series. The boards depict different religions using the old Garbage Pail kids doing kinda funny stuff. This came to my attention via the media blog, Mumbrella, which contacted the guys at Eshe who said, “Skateboarding used to be edgy back in the 90s. Everything today seems very tame, boring and to be honest, the way the religion wants a special exemption from criticism and free speech being held hostage by fanatics, pisses us off.”
First up, congrats to the Eshe guys. Great work and you’re totally right, skateboarding was a lot more fearless in the 90’s. Hope to see a lot more of this sort of thing happening in the future.
