Lewis Marnell passed away suddenly over the weekend. Marnell was a long time rider for Nike and was one of the nicest guys you could meet. You know that someone is something exceptional when their passing affects even those who only knew them at a distance.

I had only met Marnell about half a dozen times, his wife and my wife worked together and he was on the cover of the first issue of Pop Magazine we created back in December 2005 (see cover shot by Liam Kaska above), but I couldn’t stop thinking about him.
