Scotty James has taken out the FIS World Halfpipe Championships over the weekend. He only needed his first run where he nailed a 91.5 pointer that was never in danger. His second run was down the deck hi-5’ing the spectators.
The event was being held in Kreischberg, Austria. Second went to Chinese rider Yiwei Zhang (89.50) and third to Slovenian Tim-Kevin Ravnjak (89.25). Last years winner, Iouri Podladtchikov, came in fourth – this was his first event back after ankle surgery.
