Chris Boadle Snow Park Update

If you’ve been keeping up with current events, Burton shredder Chris Boadle is over at New Zealand’s Snow Park. Well he emailed me a photo (above) and an update this afternoon…

I’ve been over in NZ for a about 6 days now with Max Cookes and Gus St Leon. Snow Park is amazing at the moment. with about a metre base they currently have their super pipe up and also a 33 foot quarter which is left over from the burton open. Also built for the open is a nice stair set up which runs into a 40 foot into 60 foot table with a few rails options at the end. All over the mountain there are sooo many jibs and kicker runs to choose from. Because it’s so good at the moment, there are plenty of international riders here including the Burton junior and Uninc teams, Torah Bright and Travis Rice to name a few. Today Max was consulting Kazu on the chair about getting those back nines perfect.

Although we are having a rad time, the snow situation here has been hyped a little too much. Yesterday we rode Treble Cone and they are getting by however not comfortable with only a 2 – 3 foot base. So Aus aint that bad but when airfares here are only 450, it’s worth it.
