The Sydney Morning Herald has an article saying that Damon Hayler was hurt on Friday while competing in the Cypress Mountain World Cup Event. The article says he has a shoulder injury and split open his chin. Hayler said “I went into a bit of a hole on the berm and it took me down pretty hard and then the Italian guy, he didn’t even stop and just came straight into me which kind of hurt… I kind of knew (the divot) was there but I overcommitted my edge a bit and that’s the price you pay.” The article, which you can view by clicking here, goes on to give results for Torah Bright, who qualified first for the Womens halfpipe finals and Holly Crawford who came in third in her heat.
