Vintage Clear Lens Sunglasses for US$10! Complex put me onto this… everyone wants to get their nerd on right now and you can score a sweet pair of Vintage Clear Lens Sunglasses (pictured above) from 80’s Purple for US $10! Just like Pharrell Williams, Kanye West and Jay-Z have been rocking!

For lazy sports reporters, stereotypes can be a real bummer. LA Times reporter, Pete Thomas, has written an article on Olympic snowboarders and drug use. He is basically claiming that all snowboarders are so into the drug scene that it’s causing a clash of cultures between the IOC and the Olympic snowboard community. Of course this ignores the fact that most pros are known to avoid the drug/drink scene because no one wants to work and train that hard then fuck it up by being hazy but hey, that would get in the way of reinforcing his own idea of what a snowboarder is.

New Tony Hawk Game to use “board-like” Peripheral. Although there was no new Tony Hawk game in 2008, the year was used productively at Activision to create a new “board-like” peripheral that will replace the controller for the new release.

The Jamaica Surfing Association scores sponsorship deal IPATH. The Jamaica Surfing Association (JSA) has attracted a sponsorship deal from footwear company IPATH in excess of $1 million dollars in the first year. IPATH will pay royalties on the co-branded shoe style, provide product as well as travel expenses and cash as part of the deal. JSA also have a similar arrangement with INSIGHT clothing.
