Jared from the shoutbox was obviously listening to the same radio station as me. It’s obviously not new news, but a slow news day had JJJ reporting on Luke Dorringtons dire financial situation. Luke was dropped by Billabong at the end of last year and is now working as concreters laborer in the Pilbara region to pay his way. Sucks to hear, but he is probably making more money there than he was as a surfer. No doubt we’ll be hearing like this more and more. Story here.
