Skatedaily pointed me in the direction of this one… A New Zealand police officer has issued a $750 fine to skateboarder Reuben Baker, who was rolling down an empty footpath in Gisborne. That’s right – more than you would get for things like speeding, drink driving, etc. Thankfully, Reuben sees the ridiculousness of this and is refusing to pay the fine.
