If you were wanting ideas on how to get your snow-fix during these 30+ degree days, the guys at Destyn.Via have got it all worked out. Our friend Linton sent us over these shots from a jib session they had down at Buckley’s Falls on January 13th. Check below the cut for photos of what looks like a whole lot of fun!
Here’s some notes from Linton:
Buckley’s Falls Jib Session
Sunday 13th January
On Sunday some of the Geelong local crew got together to get a bit of winter in their blood to get them through this sweltering summer.
And all you need is a trailer full of ice, a few hessian bags, shovels, a fridge and a homemade rail, not to mention the love for snowboarding and some good old Aussie know how to get this little project whirling.
The boys hitting the rail/fridge combo:
Stu Ross (organizer, ripper, wearing all black)
Linton Naylor (me, wearing orange beanie)
Toby Geevans (in blue beanie)
