Liev Schreiber Almost Drowned Learning to Surf – Actor Liev Schreiber apparently got into a bit of trouble in the surf while holidaying with his partner, Naomi Watts, in Australia. In addition to trying to out-swim a rip, his leg rope got wrapped around his ankles. Divine retribution for his part in The Sum of All Fears? If so, Affleck better watch out.

Tony Hawk’s Twitter Board Hunt on CNN – Tony Hawk ran a treasure hunt for boards worldwide via Twitter recently and CNN picked up the story. Check it out for an interview about it all. And for those thinking about following TH on twitter – get ready for a lot of reading, that guy updates a lot.

4Chan Founder, moot, Worlds Most Influential Person – Know what a lolcat is? How about being Rickroll’d? These and a million other internet memes have come about as the result of moot’s 4Chan. Time’s poll clocked over 16 million votes for moot, making him more influential than Oprah, Obama, Madoff and a tonne of other employed people… still, I’m a fan of anyone who takes on Scientology.
