I know we’ve talked quite a bit about the Mini Cooper already, but I thought you might like to see some behind the scenes photos of how Steve Gourlay got the shot on page 20 of issue 12. Dave and I were struggling to find a good location to shoot the Mini JCW Clubman. Then one night when I was driving to basketball at Albert Park, I noticed that a lot of the infrastructure was setup for the Grand Prix. I thought it might look cool. So I called Steve, Dave got the car from Mini and we met up at the pit lane entrance, waited for the light and Steve did his thing. More photos under the cut.
