Saturday was the 2011 Dew Hut Jam at Buller and although the comp was shifted forward three hours due to an incoming weather front, it was still the best conditions I think I’ve seen the comp run in. The guys were all killing it in the chase for a piece of the five figures up for grabs. Last week we gave you the top ten skate crew to follow on twitter with the promise of snow crew to follow. Here they are, in no particular order. Diaries Downunder have released their second episode for the year. In the blurb, the guys say they “take advantage of low snow falls in the Southern Lakes region and score some pow at Coronet Peak as well as find some new spots up the Crown Range.” Amazing episode, well worth a watch. The Dew Hut Jam is on this Saturday afternoon and for 2011 they have eleven riders in the running for the Rookie Award. Torstein Horgmo has released a new video celebrating the cult that is Harry Potter.

You might remember the rad clip from last year called Gnarcade? Well that was put together by the creative guys at Knife Show who have turned their skills to edit together this clip of 3CS team rider Tyy Clark and Casey Wrightsman. It was filmed while the guys were shredding Bear Mountain… Enjoy!

Rome have released the teaser for their third full length film, The Shred Remains. The film features LNP, MFR, Lucas Debari, Bjorn Leines, Stale Sandbech, Rusty Ockenden, Johnny Lazz, Will Lavigne, Marie Hucal and more. Looks like its going to be a good one!

This is one of the best comps to hit every year and the afterparty at Kooroora is also something not to be missed. For this years comp, the guys at Burton have had a replica stair set built to allow for practice and to help step up the level of riding at the contest – check a few initial shots of the setup …

Details on Stylewars for 2011 are out and there’s a few changes to this year. Aside from the 20 invited riders, there will be the opportunity for 50 others to go into the qualifiers – anyone can register. If you think you’re in with a shot, hit this link and have fun!
