Hi guys! How was your weekend? Mine?… How about AMAZING! Dragon held their annual Rail Jam at the newly constructed park outside of Swindlers. They’ve got an awesome park crew, including Tom Pelley, working on it this year – you can peep the setup and photos from the night by clicking ‘read more’. You can’t call the night a contest cause there was no winner (I guess you could say everyone was a winner) but more of a party, with riders like Charles Beckinsale, Steve Parsons, Gus St. Leon, Tom Pelley and more shredding the park for a packed balcony. Fletch was breathing fire into the mic and the long-time resident Swindlers DJ was working the ‘ol phonographs. The music wasn’t to everyones taste but it did the job and by 11pm there was some dancing happening that would normally require $20 notes and a warning from a bouncer that there was ‘no touching’ (A side note here: when the bouncers say that…. They mean it). A special mention must go to the Hotham park guys for building a rad double-spine-setup-thingo complete with coping. I’ve certainly never seen that done in Australia before and as of Monday, it was still setup so if you’re thinking of going… Do!
