Last night was the premiere for DC’s new Mtn Lab 1.5 video. If you didn’t make it down to the bar last night, then you missed a fun night thats for sure. It started out looking like a disaster, and I have to say, we thought POP might need to look at a new shoe sponsor, but you fooled us good. By 8pm the place was filling up and at 9pm it was pretty well packed with 150 of Melbourne’s hardcore snowboarders that made it through the 100 year storm to come and see Pierre Wikberg’s latest offering. Mtn Lab 1.5 really should be numbered 2, because it is at least twice as good as the first. The stand outs for me were the Falls Creek bits and the crowd favorite, Ryan Tiene’s hammers! The ender will be hard to top in Mtn Lab 1.75 and a 3rd(?) because Ken Block jumps his WRX at Snow Park and it is amazing.

I err…love DC too.
