Apart from the fact that I’ve always wanted to write a sweet pun-laden headline, seems the 09 Burton Love graphics still has blood boiling. TWBIZ has an interesting article about a group of fundementalist christian/hardline feminist/concerned parents that actually held a protest outside Burton’s Vermont HQ. Obviously these guys haven’t seen some of the skateboard graphics that have come from companies like DGK, Consolidated (and I’m sure a bunch of others that I’ll get schooled about after posting this), etc… over the years. I think these guys are idiots, but I guess everyone has a right to an opinion. That said, we need to get them on side for Sundays Pro St Kilda Skatepark Rally because they sure can wield a sign.
