Peetu Piiroinen Wins Arctic Challenge Slopestyle

The Oakley Arctic Challenge happened over the weekend. Peetu Piironin took out the win for the Sloestyle at Tryvann Vinterpark in Oslo, Norway – Torstein Horgmo came in second, with Mikkel Bang in third. Peetu is US$35k and 1000 TTR ranking points richer for his efforts and will be crowned Swatch TTR World Snowboard Champion at the Burton US Open in two weeks. I’m sure there’ll be a video from the TAC finals but for now I only have the qualifiers video – Torstein Horgmo qualified first with Mikkel Bang in second and Mark McMorris in third. The clip is pretty awesome – check it out below! Head over here for a full press release from the day.
