It’s a bad news week for skating. In addition to the news of the loss of DVS and Matix, it looks like Zoo York is not going to resign any rider as they come out of contract. Chris Nieratko has done an interview with Zered Bassett over at ESPN. Bassett has been with the brand for a decade and has just found out that he won’t be doing another board for them. In the interview, they talk about the brands new owners, Iconix, as not really believing that the team is necessary. Chaz Ortiz and Brandon Westgate are still under contract so it looks like they will see out their agreements. Read the full interview over here.
